The NAB Challenge is done and dusted and we all now have a clearer idea of what is in store this season.

While there was little on the line during the pre-season competition plenty has changed in the betting landscape over the last three weeks, with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au reporting the following changes:

BROWNLOW
Firmers
Robbie Gray – in from $26 to $18
Dane Swan – in from $34 to $26
Dustin Martin – in from $67 to $34
Ryan Griffen – in from $81 to $67
Marcus Bontempelli – in from $501 to $201

Drifters
Joel Selwood – out from $10 to $11
Josh Kennedy – out from $21 to $23
Jordan Lewis – out from $34 to $41
Marc Murphy – out from $41 to $51
Chad Wingard – out from $81 to $101

Favourite
Gary Ablett remains the $5.00 favourite with his price not moving since Brownlow night last year.

Best backed
No surprises that Ablett is the best backed, but Robbie Gray is almost going dollar for dollar with the two time winner. Nat Fyfe also receiving plenty of support while Dustin Martin is now the fifth best backed overall.

RISING STAR
Firmers
Isaac Heeney – in from $15 to $12
Jed Anderson – in from $21 to $12
Nakia Cockatoo – in from $26 to $12
Jordan DeGoey – in from $31 to $21
Daniel McStay – in from $41 to $26

Drifters
Matt Crouch – out from $6.00 to $9.00
Nathan Freeman – out from $14 to $16
Tom Boyd – out from $12 to $21
Jono O’Rourke – out from $17 to $23
Ben Lennon - $26 out to $31

Favourite
Matt Crouch has drifted out from $6.00 to $9.00 but is still the favourite, along with Melbourne’s Jesse Hogan.

Best backed
Nakia Cockatoo has caught the eye of punters and is now the best backed, followed closely by Hawthorn’s Jed Anderson.

PREMIERSHIP
There has been no move in Premiership betting, but money has continued to come for the Hawks who are $4.00 favourites. Prior to the NAB Challenge it was almost dollar for dollar between them and Port Adelaide ($4.50), but punters have jumped on Hawthorn.
Remarkably, one punter has bet $500 at odds of $501 on St Kilda to win the flag for a return of over $250,000 should the unthinkable happen.

LEAST WINS
St Kilda’s ordinary showing in the pre-season competition has seen them hold firm at $1.83 to win the spoon, with Melbourne drifting from $3.50 to $4.00.
Punters will be hoping the Western Bulldogs’ stellar performance on the weekend was a one off, with the Dogs clearly the best backed team to win the spoon and as a result they have firmed from $5.00 to $4.00.

TOP 4
Punters have been impressed with the Cats over the NAB Challenge and are tipping them to make the Top 4, clearly the best backed team ahead of Port Adelaide ($1.85).
Fremantle ($1.85) are on the nose as far as punters are concerned, the second worst backed team only ahead of the Western Bulldogs ($41).

TOP 8
Once again it’s the Cats who punters want, the best backed to make the 8 at $1.50. Gold Coast are also right up there at $2.20 while there is no support for Richmond ($2.00) with even Collingwood ($3.00), Carlton ($3.75) and Brisbane ($3.50) receiving more money.

MISS THE TOP 8
Big go for Brisbane to miss the 8 at $1.27, including one bet of $45,000. Collingwood are the next best backed at $1.38.
