Imported galloper He’s Your Man has firmed from $13 into $9 at Sportingbet for tomorrow’s $350,000 Listed Sportingbet Mornington Cup.
The Chris Waller-trained five-year-old finished a 2.6 length fourth behind $3 Sportingbet Mornington Cup favourite Prince Of Penzance when the pair last met in the Sportingbet Mornington Cup Prelude at Caulfield.
“Punters clearly think He’s Your Man will improve from that run as we’ve taken nearly three times the amount of money for him in the last twenty four hours than what we have for the favourite,” William Hill’s Andrew Brown said.
Prince Of Penzance holds favouritism over the Gai Waterhouse duo of Travolta ($6 into $4.80) and Laidback Larry ($5.50 out to $6).
