The powerful Godolphin stable has two key chances in Sunday’s Black Opal Stakes in Canberra.

Domesday filly Antelucan has been given top billing for the two-year-old race by online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au. Antelucan is $3.10 favourite with stablemate Chamarel ($7.50). The locally trained Single Gaze is second pick at $4.20.

“The Godolphin juveniles have been dominating lately and Antelucan will appreciate the class drop here. It’s a great race on a cracking program,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson.

The Peter Moody trained Sir John Hawkwood is firm $2.30 favourite for the Canberra Cup. Local three-year-old Rom Baro ($2.60) is just ahead of Great Vintage ($3.80) in Guineas betting.
