Daniel Geale has been put up as the outsider in his rumoured upcoming fight with Puerto Rican superstar Miguel Cotto in New York.

Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au isn’t writing off the 34 year Tasmanian though, pricing him at $2.01 to take the WBC Middleweight title off Cotto.

Cotto, who’s won world titles in four weight classes, is the $1.74 favourite for the fight that’s expected to take place in June at The Barclays Centre.

“Some might have expected Cotto to be shorter than the $1.74 considering he’s fought the likes of Mayweather and Pacquiao, but we’re giving Geale a fighting chance to claim the biggest scalp of his career,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Christian Jantzen.
