Punters are convinced former North Melbourne footballer Ed will be booted from the Big Brother house tonight.
The 26-year-old Sports Manager’s odds of eviction were slashed from $1.50 into $1.12 at Sportingbet before eviction betting was suspended.
Ed’s love interest Jade also firmed late in betting from $6.00 into $4.50.
“We actually wrote more tickets for Jade but Ed attracted significantly larger bets, including one $1700 wager,” William Hill’s Andrew Brown said.
“Either way, it seems punters have had enough of the romance and are keen to put an end to their in-house relationship,” Brown said.
Tahan is now a $1.80 favourite at Sportingbet to win the show while long-time former favourite Tim’s odds have drifted to $2.10.
“It’s been one-way traffic for Tahan over the past four weeks and her odds have firmed from $17,” Brown said.
The Big Brother winner is announced next Wednesday, the 6th November.
