The Chelsea Football Club sits atop the EPL standings after winning 12 of its first 15 games; with two defeats and one draw the only blemishes to their season.
They are trailed by Arsenal, which has won 10 of 16, but has shown a propensity to be drawn, having had to accept that fate on four occasions.
Liverpool and Man City round out the top four.
Beyond that, the level of play drops off considerably, with no team in the top eight having won more than seven times, and that just the Tottenham Spurs.
Man United, Everton and Bournemouth have managed only six wins apiece, with number nine Watford in a similar predicament.
In the top eight, Bournemouth has the only negative goal differential, but although Everton is positive, it is by one solitary goal.
Down on the bottom of the ladder, a host of teams, five to be precise, has only three wins, with the distinction of the largest goal differential belonging to Hull, which has been outscored by 18 goals over the course of 15 games.
After winning the premiership for the first time in 2015 – 2016, Leicester City Football Club has fallen on hard times, occupying the 14th rung on the 20-team EPL ladder.
