The Peter Moody-trained Bring Me The Maid has firmed from $51 into $15 at Sportingbet.com.au for next Saturday’s Golden Slipper after winning today’s Magic Night Stakes at Rosehill.
“We wound her in to $17 straight after her win but punters immediately snapped that up,” William Hill’s Andrew Brown said.
“It was a decent run and if happens to be a rain-affected track again next week punters will be confident that she will get through it.”
Bring Me The Maid is now an equal fifth favourite with Oakleigh Girl. Earthquake remains a solid $2.15 favourite at Sportingbet in front of Mossfun ($6.50), Ghibellines ($11) and Unencumbered ($13).
