An ambitious charity campaign is underway where four friends will cycle over a million metres (1000km) from Randwick Racecourse in Sydney to Moonee Valley in Melbourne just before the Race that Stops the Nation!

The epic effort will see Adam Burns (28), Kevin Masters (35), Chris Sowerby (31) and Phil Prenter (26), undertake a gruelling 11-day journey, in an attempt to raise $20,000 for Riding for the Disabled NSW (RDA NSW).
And one of the blokes has form! Adam Burns, was one of four men who walked 1966km to the FIFA World Cup in Brazil, raising $85,000 for a Brazilian charity.
“The prospect of embarking on another crazy adventure is really exciting – and it’s fantastic to be doing it for a charity like RDA NSW. We visited a recent RDA event and to see the relationship the riders have with their horses and how the time with them can help them to manage their disabilities was eye opening,” said charity rider Adam Burns.
The money raised by the team will be used by RDA NSW to continue to provide horse therapy, sport, recreation, training and safety programs for people with disabilities.
