ADAM SCOTT $8 TO TAKE BACK NUMBER 1 RANKING

Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au is offering $8.00 for Adam Scott to wrestle back the world number one ranking off Rory McIlroy at this week’s USPGA – a week after the Northern Irishman knocked the Aussie off his perch.

To do that, Scott will need to either win the tournament, or finish top 20 and hope McIIroy misses the cut.

The pair are the two clear favourites to take out golf’s final major of the year with McIlroy the top pick at $6.00, and Scott $12.
